Interaction Elements & Use Cases

Cinema8 brings an action to your videos with its useful interactive elements. So, what are the purposes of these interactive elements and where can we use them, let's look at them…

HTML

With the HTML element, you can integrate all the platforms where you can get embed code, such as YouTube videos, Facebook posts, Google maps locations, to your videos.

Into the video with HTML element;

- YouTube Videos
- Interactive Cinema8 Videos
- Facebook Posts
- Google Maps Location

It is possible to place objects that can be accessed with embed code.

Image

With the Image element, you can add images to your videos and use them in various ways. What are these uses;

- Buttons
- Overlays
- Feedback
- Additional Info
- Pop-up Menu

After Effects Import

The "After Effects Import" element allows you to integrate lottie animation files that you have prepared with Adobe After Effects into Cinema8. Thus, you can use the animations you have prepared in your interactive videos. What you need to do is to download and install the “bodymovin” plug-in to the After Effects program. Thanks to this plugin, you can download the animations you have prepared as json files.

Widget

Animated Text

Animated text element allows you to give input and output animations to the texts you write in the video.

Get the link of the image you see on any site and want to add to your video. Embed it into your video with Cinema8 Dynamic image.

Drawing

Do you want any area on the video to catch the viewer's attention? With the Drawing element, draw and mark the desired place in the video.

Video

With the video element, you can integrate different videos into your videos full screen, you can add the time that the viewer has to watch.

Audio

The Audio element allows you to add audio files on videos.

You can implement into the video with Audio element below;

- Sound effects on buttons / Feedback
- Background music for your videos

Project Item

The project item element is an element that you can add redirects to the interactive projects you have previously created in the video. It has a design similar to the video routing boxes placed at the end of the video, used in YouTube videos. It is usually used when you want to direct the viewer to other videos.

With the Project item, it is possible to create video suggestion buttons.

Countdown

The Countdown element allows you to add counters to the video. You can use these counters as the time limit you will put on a question you put in the video.

The Countdown element is also an element where you can select actions that you can trigger to take an action when the time expires.

Add the Countdown element. Select an action that you want to happen when the time expires. When the time expires, the action you choose will be realized. That's it.

With the Countdown element, it is possible to create counters where you can trigger an action when the time expires.

Free Text Question

With the free text question element, you can ask your viewers questions to write their own answers.

Drag and drop the element into your video. Let your viewer answer their questions by adding their own comments. Give them feedback based on viewer responses.

Single Select Question

Single Select Question element allows you to prepare classic test questions for your audience.

Drag and drop the element into your video. Write your question and options. You can add and delete as many options as you want. Then, depending on the answers to your question, you can direct them to another place of the video or to another video or give feedback with a message box that comes up.

Multi-Select Question

With the Multi-Select Question element, you can prepare questions that your viewers can choose from more than one item according to the question you ask, and you can give feedback according to the items you choose.

Fill in The Blank Question

With the Fill in The Blank Question element, you can prepare questions for your viewers to fill in the space, and give your viewer feedback based on the responses.

Drag and Drop Question

Audio/Video Input Question

Audio / Video Input Question element allows you to receive video or audio recordings from viewers.

Advertising

Dfp (DoubleClick For Publishers) is an advertising service from Google. If you have an advertising account on this platform, you can integrate this account with your Cinema8 account to use Google ads in your interactive videos and earn income from your videos.

Jump To

Jump To element allows you to jump from point to point in the video. 

With this element, you can ensure that the viewer does not notice the mistake you made in the video or you can make the viewer return to the beginning of the video in some part of the video and watch your videos from the beginning.

Action

The Action element can be introduced as an element kit. Because with this element, you can choose actions such as stopping the video at the point where you placed the element in the video, mute the video or deactivate the pause button in the rest of the video, and perform different interventions to the video.

Conditional Action

Cinema8 can easily store an action taken by the audience in the video in the background. If the viewer clicked a button in the 10th Second of the video, we can easily see this data. So, what does the Conditional Action element do here?

You can trigger other actions using actions you keep in memory in the video along with Conditional Action. In other words, if the viewer clicked a button in the 20th second, it is like displaying an information window about the first button that he clicked in the 40th Second…

Keep viewer actions in memory with Cinema8. In the rest of the video, determine the video stream according to the viewer selections.

Clickable Area

Clickable Area element allows you to turn an area within the video into a button. Actions can be assigned to happen when these buttons are clicked, and different colors can be given with the flashing animation to attract the attention of the audience.

Form Designer

It is possible to present the forms you designed in Cinema8 to the viewers with the Form Designer element.

Design your own form with the drag-and-drop element in the Form Designer section of the general menu and present it to your users.

Subtitles

The Subtitle element lets you add different language subtitle options to your videos. Upload the subtitle file with .srt extension that you have prepared before to Cinema8. Then, adjust the language settings and integrate them into your video. Your captioned video is ready. Moreover, you can add more than one different language subtitle options to your videos.
